I can't really justify saying "life is shit" but life isn't going well. Mom's now in hospital, after admitting herself. She managed to stay out for like six years, but she just took a really bad turn for the worse so.... She seems to be alright though. She's just on facebook complaining about hospital coffee. I'm going to see her tomorrow after my hospital appt! She's in the QE though, which is a horribly massive place that looks more like a airport than a hospital. Lets hope the wards aren't as terrifying. I don't know why hospital wards creep me out, I've probably spent half my life on them (visiting and residing) lol .... ah well.
Unproductive day except I sorted out my shelves, and by sorted out I mean sat and took photo's of pretty stones
My favourite ones are the middle photo (minus the whitby jet on the right) and the right photo. Especially the light blue, grey and black one in the last photo. It looks fake and kind of like it has bluetack stuck on it, but its just really pretty.

This is my favourite one, and I've forgot the name of it. Wow, I'm useless. You can't handle it that much because bits break off so it has its own little container. And anyone who manhandles it gets attacked. Isn't it great though I mean it looks like a meteor shard ;;

The ones I got off Holiday :D Full Ammonite, fossilized wood, blue quartz, I'm not sure of its name but its a metal looking cube who cares and Fluorite!
Left is a slice on Blue John, which they kindly fucking glued to the container. I got it a few years ago from the caves where it forms (A+ cave). Right - Agate slices. They're like slices of the Quartz pictured above somewhere. I guess it's one of the most common ones out there to buy w/e
These are my moms, but she gave them me when we sorted out Nan's house. Nothing amazingly pretty, but still cool rocks! The Satin Spar looks like coconut, it's really weird. And lol look more quartz. They're all stuck down again, but because they're in grids and named I can kind of forgive them. Plus, it's like 20+ years old ....
Three of the sharks teeth I own - another is on a necklace, and some more are at Moms. Spiral aka Ammonites where found my me and mom in Whitby. The log looking thing is actually a bone. It doesn't say what animal its from but it's like millions of years old (probably a replica but idc). And the polished rock with cones in is something I have once again forgotten the name of, but it is a sea creature! It's a common one like ammonites, but not as easy to get out of rocks like ammonites. First picture on the second row is fossilised wood courtesy of Mom :D
And to finish it off, the sheeps teeth I found on Holiday. I just found them really weird so I had to take them home... Dad doesn't exactly approve but since I used to collect dead butterfies and bugs, he's kind of used to it.
