Dear anon on tumblr, excuse the absence. Yesterday I was out and didn't get back till gone midnight so I didn't really want to blog by then, and the day before I forgot.
I went up to Whitby (basically my second home, I've been there so often) for the day with Dad and Kerry. Despite, the weather being abysmal all around England, even in Harrogate which isn't too far out from Whitby, the weather in Whitby itself was alright! It was quite windy, so the sea was rough as hell. The tide was at it's highest when we finally got to the shoreline on the right side of town, so add on the wind and you get rough sea and crashing waves. We did quite well while walking along it, until I stopped to take a photo within the range of the waves and got soaked along with Kerry. It was just my right side, so it was really awkward. The water, salt and wind ruined my hair

Whitby is somewhat known for it's restuarant: The Magpie Cafe. I kid you not, the food is the best. There's usually a queue outside - the longest I've queued it's an hour and a half. Luckily, we only had to wait about ten minutes. A lot of people tend to think, 'oh waiting time, it's busy the food won't be that good', but the food only gets better as it grows. Their fish and chip's are more like whale and chips, but it's so good. I tried crab, since Dad had it and well, not really a fan of it. The texture is quite weird. I could probably eat it in small amounts. It was really tempting to order squid, 'cause for once they still had it available (their fish is all fresh so it's basically subject to availability). If anyone is ever in Whitby, you need to go there! But make sure you go during Goth Fest or a normal holiday. Anything but a Bank Holiday. Bank Holidays = normal tourists = nightmare.
We were going to go to Robin's Hood Bay; a cute little town with an amazing beach, a few cute little shops and back alleys - but after eating at the magpie, we decided to simply head home. I didn't fall asleep in the car till we were twenty minutes away from home, which is pretty good considering I got up at half seven. For me, that's insanely early. AM doesn't exist in Elz time.
